CERRITOS, CA – Get ready for a night of exciting jams when two of music’s biggest acts –Pablo Cruise and Jim Messina – sail onto the stage with OASIS IN THE SUN TOUR at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) on Friday, April 12, 8:00 PM. Ticket prices start at $49.

PABLO CRUISE soared to the Top 10 with the mega hit Whatcha Gonna Do When She Says Goodbye?. The 1977 Place in the Sun gave the band its first No. One hit on the Pop chart. The follow-up Worlds Away yielded more hits, including Love Will Find a Way and Don’t Want to Live Without It, paving the way for the group’s appearance on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand and The Merv Griffin Show. The ensemble became the first Rock band to grace the stage at the Grand Ole Opry.

Country-Rock guru JIM MESSINA has proven his staying power with a career spanning five decades and encompassing three super groups, a vibrant solo career, and scores of producing and engineering credits. While he started as a producer/audio engineer for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Buffalo Springfield, Messina ultimately joined the group as its bass player. When Buffalo Springfield disbanded in 1968, Messina and fellow bandmate Richie Furay formed Poco and defined a new musical genre: Country-Rock. Messina was also one-half of the Soft-Rock duo Loggins and Messina with Grammy winner Kenny Loggins. The two released eight successful albums and scores of hit songs, selling more than 16 million records and becoming one of Rock’s most successful recording duos ever. On his own, Messina recorded the acclaimed albums Messina, One More Mile, and In the Groove.
