CCPA Presents Proud Tina: The Ultimate Tribute to Tina Turner on Sun., March 3, 7:00 PM

CERRITOS, CA – The New York Times called Tina Turner a “magnetic singer of explosive power.” Experience the late “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” like never before at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) on Sunday, March 3, 7:00 PM. Tickets start at $49 for the PROUD TINA: THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE TO TINA TURNER show. The production is not associated with the Estate of Tina Turner.

With a band, brass section, backing vocalists, and dancers to make this the definitive tribute and a fabulous fun night out, the new stage production showcases all of Turner’s biggest and best hits from the 1960s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, including What’s Love Got to Do With It, Simply the Best, Proud Mary, We Don’t Need Another Hero, Better Be Good to Me, and Private Dancer. The eight-time Grammy winner’s other hits include River Deep, Mountain High; Nutbush City Limits; What You Get Is What You See; and I Can’t Stand the Rain. The 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee has been credited with inspiring generations of Rock and Pop stars, ranging from Mick Jagger to Beyoncé.

Portraying Turner is South African-born songstress Caroline Borole, hailed for her soaring raspy vocals and powerful stage presence.
