CCPA Presents Dustbowl Revival With Special Guest Aaron Goodvin on Sat., October 7, 8:00 PM

CERRITOS, CA – Join us for a rousing evening as Dustbowl Revival comes to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) with special guest Aaron Goodvin. This Director’s Pick show takes place Saturday, October 7 at 8:00 PM. Tickets start at $37.

With flair and swagger, DUSTBOWL REVIVAL mashes traditional American music into a genre-hopping, time-bending dance party of the sounds that have kept America moving for more than a century. Called “the best live band in L.A.” by L.A. Weekly, it carved a niche with the funky favorite Honey I Love You and the Folk hit Got Over.

Dustbowl Revival has always been about pushing the boundaries of American Roots music. After celebrating more than decade of sonic adventuring and playing thousands of shows from Denmark to China, including selling out many hometown shows at Los Angeles’ famed Troubadour, the group has amassed a solid, devoted fan base that revels in its joyful Soul songs and cut-to-the-heart Folk-Rock ballads, including the emotional single Beside You and 2020’s hit Is It You, Is It Me, which tackles personal and political tension. Other hits include Mirror, Runaway and the current fan favorite and live showstopper: Sonic Boom, about the struggle to reveal who you really are in the hidden, rose-colored world of social media.

Opening the show is award-winning, double Platinum-selling star AARON GOODVIN, who shook up the Country music scene with the No. One hits You Are and Boy Like Me and the double Platinum-certified Lonely Drum, which captivated dancers around the globe and became the soundtrack to one of the world’s most popular line dances. The two-time Canadian Country Music Association award nominee was also nominated for a JUNO “Country Album of the Year” Award for V, featuring the songs Bars & Churches and Good Ol’ Bad Days. Canadian Beats Media hailed Goodvin’s recent hit, Country Dance, for its “infectious spirit and genuine enthusiasm” and for showcasing “his signature blend of modern country and gritty soulful vocals.”
