CCPA Celebrates The Life and Music of George Michael on Fri., February 2, 8:00 PM

THE LIFE AND MUSIC OF GEORGE MICHAEL chronicles the singer-songwriter’s amazing journey with music and his illustrious career. Michael rose to fame as a member of the British Pop duo Wham! in the early ’80s, selling more than 115 million albums with the international hit songs Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, Careless Whisper, Last Christmas, Freedom, I’m Your Man, and Everything She Wants. The resounding success catapulted Michael into an even more successful solo run with one of the biggest-selling Pop albums of all time: Faith, which featured the No. One hits Faith, Monkey, Father Figure, and One More Try.

A new theatrical concert event, The Life and Music of George Michael uses staging and lighting to capture the performance and sound of the late legend who over the course of his illustrious career collected two Grammys, three BRIT Awards, three American Music Awards, and four MTV Video Music Awards.
